"Coastal Serene Sophistication"

With the birth of our fifth child, we realized I would soon need to either give up my art room or have 3 girls in a room that was already going to be too small to grow up in for our other two girls. Plus, we actually had a couple different prophecies confirming a move as well long before then that helped me realize I didn't want to get too attached to our house like I did our Indy home that was so incredibly hard to move away from. We actually had a few offers including an accepted offer with our Moroccan theme still up, but those people were way over their budget & asked far more than we could do so they could back out of the offer right before closing. It was terrifying as we already had an accepted offer on our new fixer upper & were going to close on both the same day. It was necessary to sell our rental we had flipped a couple years before to put a down payment on our new home & last minute, I convinced my husband that we could neutralize it to broaden the interest, paint the entire living area, could stage it for less than $1k in less than a week, get it back on the top of the listings, & prayed we could get an offer before we had to pay a second mortgage. We had already painted the cabinets the cream color right before then & took down our wall. I think I spent between $600-$700 & got a new dining set off the online rummage, a 5-gallon bucket of paint matched to Sherwin Williams "Rainwashed", 2 rugs at a yard sale, got a dresser & nightstand set off the online rummage, a plant from there as well, went to Home Goods where I got pillows, & Hobby Lobby where I got some artwork on clearance, & my sister loaned me some as well. We were able to pull it off within 4 days or so (sooo much work!) & were 4 days short of paying a second mortgage when we sold our house! Such a God thing!
