You are not a victim in life. We all have difficulties & setbacks, some more than others. We all have toxic, hard to love, hard to forgive people, sometimes even in positions over us. Any area you act like a victim in, you will not see victory. Let God have the final say in your life, not your critics, not your enemy, not even your doctor. There are people who have conquered your demons & setbacks; draw from their strength. Read their testimonies, knowing what God has done for others, He wants to do for & through you.

Don’t listen to the wisdom from this world which is foolishness to God. He uses the foolish things of this world to shame the wise, the weak things to shame the mighty. You can do ALL things through Him who gives you strength. With Him, NOTHING is impossible. Speak it over your life & out loud until you believe it & it’s louder than the broken record of critics & toxicity that has been spoken over your life.

People are not the enemy. God created all in His image, including yourself. He loved us in our darkness & has given us the power to do the same. Physical strength is not you, but it is a part of you & affects how you see yourself mentally & spiritually.

The worst feeling that has come from my setbacks in life is feeling incapable. I am not powerful enough to ruin God’s plan for my life & neither are you. Life is about constant growth. God will use all things for your good. It would be so easy to speak about my struggles after I’ve conquered the mountains in my life, but I would be removed from the compassion that comes from walking through them alongside others.

You are not alone. God will never leave you nor forsake you. If you find yourself in the depths of hell, He is there. He has never stopped loving you or those toxic in your life, & you have the power to forgive & love the unlovable in yourself & others. That’s the good news. Let your hard workout today become your warm-up someday, but take it one day at a time. Give your all, tap into His strength, & push a little harder.
